Even though people think of pets as part of the family, they must remember that pets are still animals and their ideas and perceptions of the world are often much different than those of humans.

they have ideas of MY food. silly things.
One of the great joys of a dog owner is to walk through a familiar neighborhood and see it through the eyes of a dog. I wish we could smell it the way they do. Or not.
