Dusty is old now and can't see or smell well, and can't jump up on chairs. So the kitten feels safe.

Be careful Dusty... my innocent beagle Banjo was walking along the couch, minding his own business, when the cat, who was sitting on the couch lashed out with open claws, scratching Banjo in his eye and in fact blinding him in that eye. Never trust a cat.
Cats can be so unpredictable!
I watched the Tom/Red video again, I've just realized Red has a pretty good voice. I didn't realize it at first because I was laughing too hard. She has that hoarse, whisky-cigarette, sexy, blues singing voice.
The tape was 1980 when Red had some surgery. There were three doctors that said she wouldn't live another five years. The doctors are now dead and Red will be 70 in Feb. Life is strange sometimes.
Those cats are so bold! They're takin' over the place.
The cats try to take over, but Dusty lets them know who's boss! When he can find them...
Wouldn't that kitty jump out of its skin if Dusty got a burst of energy and leaped up onto that chair!!
That would be funny!!
Last night, the cat fell asleep on the edge of my desk and Dusty slept at my feet while I was on the computer. The cat rolled over and fell off the desk right into Dusty's lap! That was sort of funny!
Unlike my cats, who are not safe from the insanity of the dachshunds.
