Dirty Dog

Icy would be a pretty dog if she had a bath and trim and good brushing. But she is old and grouchy, and doesn't even like to be petted much anymore. She growled at my wife for rubbing her. I've been sick lately myself and don't feel like fighting with her to give her a bath.

You know, it might be worth the trouble to cart her off to the vet for a nice dreamy shot of doggy valium, and then to the groomer for a one time trim and shampoo. Or then again, maybe not. Icy is really beautiful just the way she is... and I'm tired and grumpy too. My kids want me to cut my hair, change my wardrobe, and get hip. I say nay. Hope you feel better Tom.

Icy looks like a snowfield with cinnamon.

(((Tom))) I'm sorry you're sick. I'm sorry we don't live close enough for me to come and be of some help.

Icy looks fine. We girls don't have to shine all the time.

Sounds a bit like Raymond, my long hair cat. He isn't old, but he's feisty. He gets mats in his fur, even when we brush him and tries to bite when we have to work the mats out or cut them out. I'm sorry you're sick too--feel better! This damn heat sure doesn't help.
When I make megabucks off my silly book, I'll send you some money to have a groomer come and rassle with the dogs!

I think Icy is pretty even when she's scruffy.

I'm sorry to hear you've been sick. I sure hope you feel better soon. If you lived nearby, I'd bring some chicken soup and whiskey.

Sorry to hear you weren't feeling well. Hope you feel better by now.

Icy is like some people. They sometimes don't want to be touched.
