Icy Still Very Upset

Icy hasn't gotten over the loss of her daddy, Dusty Doggy. She will not eat very much, and mostly just walks around from room to room and yard looking for him.

Poor little thing, she lost someone she had a close and special connection with. You cannot explain death to a dog.

Yeah, sure. I hope Icy's human parents are doing as well.

When our dog Tobin lost his buddy Winston the beagle - he was dazed for months. As Ariel said, death is not something an animal understands any more than we humans do. Hugs to Icy.

Ah poor Icy. I was wondering how you've been. Poor girl.

I'm so sorry, Icy. Some people think that animals don't form strong bonds like people, but they do. And it's impossible to explain to them. It's truly heart breaking.

Awww, I hope Icy is feeling better today.

Poor Icy, dogs need time to grieve too. Sometimes we forget that.

Poor Icy.
we are very sorry, Ariella and I send hugs to Icy and Tom.
It's never easy to lose a creature you love.

Poor, poor Icy. She is very sad, and I am sure that Ton and Red are sad too.
I hope Icy's appetite returns soon. Dusty would want her to eat well and be healthy. I hope Icy believes that dogs go to heaven. That might help her deal with her terrible loss.
