The song was one of the karaoke singers on Sim's Karaoke We had ripped several to use on Lammy's blog this Sunday, mixing the singing with fictional characters using Crazy Talk face animation like when we make Icy talk.
I've only seen fireflies one time, when I went to visit my sister in Arkansas. Wow! I loved watching the kittens jumping around, and better, I loved seeing the fireflies!!
Those of you that haven't been to Lammy's place lately are really missing out. Lammy is in top form--she's really finding friends in low places! And getting back-handed compliments from Crappy Times reporter Two Face Tess.

Being so young and energetic lasts such a sadly short time. Yet even a very old cat will sometimes enjoy chasing flying insects.
Love it. What great memories that brings back.
Great video. Wish I could say the same for the music. :)
Happy 4th to the cats, dogs, and humans alike!
Fun! I still like to catch (and release) fireflies myself.
Who was that singer?

Great choice of music to the video, kind of a cat-music. :-)
They are terribly sweet.
That's pretty much what I did with my youth, too.
Time flies too. It's been days since you posted.

Tom, what is the song the girl is trying to sing?
The song was TIME IN A BOTTLE originally done by Jim Croce, who also made songs like Bad Bad Leroy Brown.
Thanks!
In the south, those are called lightning bugs.
I LOVE them!!!!
They are magical!
Very cute. I thought it was Icy singing.
